Convert AVI to 3GP

This guide will show how you can easily convert any AVI file to 3GP video files. First start up 3GP Converter 2007 (if you haven´t download the trial yet you can find it HERE).

Now just select the "Import Video" button and select the AVI file you want to convert into 3GP.

On the main screen you can see some details about the video you have just imported, now select the "Convert to 3GP" button.

Now we just need to select the Video and Audio codec for the output file and the screen resolution, in our case we choose MPEG-4 as video codec, AAC for the sound codec, and finally 176 X 144 screen resolution.

To start the conversion just click on the "Convert to 3GP" button.

Please note that not all 3G phones support the above codecs, check your phone manual to see what codecs and screen resolutions are supported.

As you can see it takes only a couple of simple steps to convert Avi files to 3GP.
